Our 6 week post natal core rehabilitation course caters for new mums in the early post natal stage. Prior to joining the course you will under go a thorough pre screen with medical questionnaire and physical check. During the course we will tackle restrengthening the pelvic floor, core and whole body with a holistic approach. The course begins with mat based sessions that focus on retraining your breathing to help activate the pelvic floor more regularly, dynamic stretch movement that will help rid aches and pains, and then progresses onto motherhood movement patterns that help support your everyday life with your growing baby. The class is a mixture of Yoga, Pilates and other rehabilitation practises.
Courses are usually held in Canada Water, Blackheath, Eltham, Chislehurst & Petts Wood
Babies in buggies are welcome.
A maximum of 8 mums to one course.

Please note: New post natal mums must have had their 8 week check up and cleared for exercise by their GP before they begin. We advise you to wait 8 weeks for natural birth, 12 weeks for C – section before commencing an exercise program. GP letter may be asked from you should anything flag up on your registration form. We thoroughly Pre-Screen all mums with and in depth questionnaire that must be filled in before attending and we will also check you for diastasis recti. Should anything flag up on your forms we can refer you to see a Woman’s Health Physiotherapist.
