If you’ve been plugged into the fitness world lately, you’ve probably noticed one word popping up everywhere: HYROX.
From Instagram reels to fitness podcasts, HYROX is dominating the headlines — and for good reason. It’s intense, fun, competitive (if you want it to be), and increasingly popular across all fitness levels. And now, we’re bringing a little taste of it to Bootcamp SE16!
So… What Is HYROX?
HYROX is a global fitness race designed to challenge your endurance, strength, and mental grit. Here’s how it works:
Participants complete eight rounds of 1km runs, with each run followed by a functional workout station. Think sled pushes, wall balls, rowing, farmer’s carries, and more. It’s all about testing your overall fitness, not just how fast or how strong you are.

How We’re Bringing HYROX to Bootcamp SE16
We’ve got a growing team of Bootcampers signed up for the December HYROX event in London — and we’re getting stuck into the prep!
Starting this month, we’ll be sprinkling HYROX-inspired sessions into some of our Monday evening workouts. These won’t be every week, but now and then you’ll notice a bit more structure that mirrors the HYROX format — without losing our signature Bootcamp fun.
Whether you’re racing or not, these sessions are a brilliant way to build strength, boost endurance, and enjoy something a little different.
