Step into Spring on the right foot!

Spring is here and I am using the seasonal change to step into action and ensure my productivity levels are at their best so I can reach my goals efficiently and quickly.

Here are our top tips to manage time effectively and to be productive:

Start each day with a plan and set daily goals with reminders.

Cut your to-do list in half. Take a less-is-more approach to your to-do list by only focusing on accomplishing things that matter. Do the most important tasks first (while your brain is still fresh).

Exercise. One of the most productive things you can do is to exercise. It increases our physical and mental health and so by working out and being active you are using your time efficiently to create longevity in the future.

Take more breaks. If you have hit a block, refresh yourself by going for a walk or doing a workout. You’ll come back to the task in hand recharged and ready to achieve greater efficiency.
Create a system. Wake up at the same time every day and create a routine.  Sticking to a schedule will help you stay regimented and as alert as possible, because when you know what to expect, it’s less daunting to start your day.
Stop multi-tasking. Stop trying to do 10 things at once! Get things done more effectively and efficiently by focusing on one task at a time.

Uninstall or hide social media apps. While the sites won’t be completely out of reach, this practice can keep you from checking updates on impulse (when let’s face it, there’s nothing new there anyway).

Go to bed early to wake up early. You will be much more focused after a restful nights sleep

Even introducing one or two of these tips will help with your productivity.

What ones will you be introducing to your daily routine?
