At Bootcamp SE16, we always say we’re more than just a workout community—we’re a team. And that couldn’t have been more evident than during our recent volunteering day at Stave Hill, where a dedicated crew of Bootcampers came together to help maintain and improve the space we call home for our sessions.
With gloves on and tools in hand, this hard-working group set about tackling some much-needed maintenance, proving once again that we’re not just about burpees and kettlebell swings, but also about giving back and looking after the spaces we use.
What We Achieved Together
✅ Cleared & reorganised the shed – Because a well-organised space makes setting up for sessions a breeze!
✅ Raked & re-seeded the grass – Ensuring the area around the steps remains strong and healthy for the months ahead.
It was hard work, but teamwork made it enjoyable, and we are so grateful to everyone who showed up to lend a hand. Volunteering days like this aren’t just about maintaining the area—they’re also a chance to bond as a community outside of the workouts, proving once again that Bootcamp SE16 is about so much more than just fitness.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part—we see you, and we appreciate you! Keep an eye out for our next volunteering day because there will be more opportunities to get involved and give back.
