Outdoor bootcamp classes in Canada Water and Bromley

Every session is an hour, coached, and open to all levels. Across a week the timetable covers strength, conditioning and mobility rather than repeating one session, so here is what runs and where.

Strength training classes

Classes built around getting stronger, using kettlebells, slam balls, tyres and your own bodyweight.

  • Strength Squad Stave Hill, 4× a week; Park House, 4× a week

A focused strength session using a variety of equipment to build muscle, improve strength and increase confidence with resistance training. Suitable for all levels, with weights and exercises adapted to the individual.

  • Functional Strength Stave Hill, once a week; Beccehamians, once a week

Strength training built around movements you use in everyday life, helping you become stronger, more stable and more resilient. Ideal for anyone wanting to improve overall strength, movement quality and injury prevention.

  • Hybrid Strength Stave Hill, once a week; Beccehamians, 2× a week

A combination of structured strength work and functional conditioning, giving you the benefits of resistance training alongside a fitness challenge. Great for anyone wanting to get stronger while still working on overall fitness and endurance.

HIIT classes

Short, hard intervals with recovery in between.

  • HIIT the Hill Stave Hill, once a week

A fast-paced outdoor conditioning session using the hills and terrain around Stave Hill. Expect short bursts of higher-intensity work mixed with recovery, designed to build cardiovascular fitness, stamina and lower-body strength.

  • Anaerobic Training Stave Hill, 2× a week; Park House, 2× a week

A higher-intensity conditioning session designed to improve fitness, speed, power and your ability to work hard for short bursts. Expect a mix of intervals, circuits and challenging conditioning work, with options for different fitness levels.

Circuit training

Stations you work through in turn, mixing strength and cardio.

  • Drills & Circuits Stave Hill, once a week; Park House, 2× a week

A varied circuit-based session combining strength, cardio and functional exercises. The format changes regularly, making it a fun and energetic option for anyone who enjoys plenty of variety.

Functional fitness classes

Movement that carries over into everyday life: lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting and getting up off the floor.

  • Functional Fit Stave Hill, once a week; Park House, 2× a week

A full-body session combining strength, conditioning, balance, coordination and mobility. A great all-round workout for improving fitness and helping you move and feel better.

  • Hybrid Fit Park House, once a week

A mixed fitness session combining strength, conditioning and functional movements to challenge the whole body. Perfect for anyone who enjoys a varied workout and wants to improve both strength and cardiovascular fitness.

Athletic conditioning

Speed, agility and power work, closer to how athletes train.

  • Athletic Enhancement Stave Hill, once a week

A performance-focused session designed to develop speed, power, agility, coordination and athletic movement. Ideal for anyone wanting to feel fitter, faster and more capable, not just in training but in everyday life and sport.

How membership works

The classes are one part of it. Membership also covers nutrition support, goal setting and a community that notices when you stop coming.

Where the classes run

Stave Hill Ecological Park in Canada Water, close to Rotherhithe, Surrey Quays and Bermondsey, and Park House and Beccehamians rugby clubs in Bromley.

Small group personal training

If you need more than a group class gives you, often because of an injury or a pregnancy, you can train in a small group on a programme written for you.
